The following are speculative ads to show my facility with advertising copywriting.
ART OF SHAVING CAMPAIGN
The premise is the face as a figurative canvas, and the grooming lineup, a representative palette. "The Art of Shaving" evokes refinement but also implies that it has mastered shaving so well that it's an "art" form. Thus, the tagline, "you're on display," places the consumer in a context where he needs to look his best when it matters, and The Art of Shaving products will make him ready for the public eye.
Includes print, outdoor, social media, digital, alternative, direct mail, collateral, and TV commercial spec.
HUDSON WHISKEY CAMPAIGN
The distillery evokes pride in its small batch approach; even the labels are manually added via a small-scale assembly line in a garage. And an 18th-century operational grist mill resides on the land, a symbolic touch. The brand values time in creating something authentic.
MOVIE GUERILLA MARKETING CAMPAIGN
The concept is for a fictitious science fiction political thriller movie, "Darwin Among the Machines" based on the future of artificial intelligence. The intention is to create the illusion that what the viewer is seeing is real. No trailers, no advertisements, no media spoilers are circulated. But the audience is instructed to view a particular page on a certain date, but nothing suggests that it's a trailer.
The campaign advertises the central drama of the film, a mock company that makes AI resources versus an implied undercurrent of populace opposition to the company and artificial intelligence in general. A street initiative coincides with a digital strategy.
